Don’t stop – give yourself the best choiceSchoolYou can stay on at school after 16 if your school has a sixth form and you get the GCSE grades they want. You can also apply to other schools to go into their sixth form. Most school and college sixth forms hold special open evenings/events when you can look around and discuss subject timetables. At the beginning of year 12 they also usually hold induction days to help you get to know each other. School sixth forms usually offer AS/A Levels and some vocational qualifications. From there you can go on to work, work with training or further education. For more ideas visit these websites: Alternatively, click the links below to visit the Connexions website in your area: |
